According to Forbes, this AI system was built by research scientist Adrianna Romero and some other experts at FAIR's Montreal (Canada) laboratory. For example, when there is a picture of banana bread, the system can list the input ingredients and describe the baking method.

“Many people nowadays take pictures of their meals. Sometimes there are ingredients you can see, but there are also ingredients you don't always see, such as salt, sugar and such seasonings. While some Facebook and Instagram users will certainly enjoy the feature, Pineau said the social networking company has no plans to roll out an AI system that generates recipes.
